Step By Step Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper. Spray the lined pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Add butter and brown sugar to a large bowl and stir until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix to combine. Add the flour and salt and mix just until combined, not too much.

Reserve a few chocolate chips for sprinkling over the top. Mix the rest into the butter and flour mixture.

Pour the batter into the 8-inch baking pan lined with parchment paper and sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Spread it out evenly. Top with reserved chocolate chips. Bake for 25 to 28 minutes or until a toothpick poked into the center comes out with moist crumbs. The edges should be slightly golden brown.

Allow the chocolate chip blondies to cool for twenty minutes before removing them from the baking pan using parchment sister. Allow them to cool on the counter completely before cutting into even squares.

Be sure to save any leftovers in an air-tight container!
