The Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater has some amazing outdoor activities for you to take part in! About Devon Lakeshore Amphitheatre

Maybe the name is obvious, but the Devon Lakeshore Amphitheatre sits just off the shore of Lake Decatur and is owned and operated by the Decatur Park District. The venue honors Howard G. Buffett’s wife, Devon, and opened in May 2019. The Amphitheatre can hold over 3,000 people, typically operating from May through September.

Devon Lakeshore Amphitheatre offers something for everyone with many different genres of musicians, comedians, movie nights, and family entertainment. The venue has many seating options available. If you like being close to the action, the pit is perfect for you. If you prefer to bring your own chairs and a picnic blanket, the lawn or terrace is a great spot.

In the upcoming months, Devon Lakeshore Amphitheatre has great performances lined up that you’ll want to check out! May 20 is opening night with “Here Come the Mummies” starting at 7 p.m. This band has been performing Soul and Rock music since 2000. They bring a scary energy to the stage as they perform dressed in mummy costumes.

If you like Opera/Rock mashups, you’ll love going to see “The Jersey Tenors” on May 21. From Frank Sinatra to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons to Figaro, these four men have voices like you’ve never heard before. If you like to sing along, this is a great show for you.

On May 29, the Brothers Osborne roll into town. The band is made up of two brothers whose country music dances between southern twang and electric rock. With over 15 awards and nominations, you can’t be disappointed if you choose this performance.
