Getting enough power isn’t a problem when driving the 2022 RAM 1500. Most of the trims are outfitted with 3.6-liter V-6 engines. These powerful engines produce 305 horsepower and 269 pound-foot of torque. If that’s not enough, you can upgrade to the 5.2-liter V-8 engine. It manages to produce 395 horsepower and 410 pound-foot of torque.
You won’t just notice that power when accelerating or going off-road. It also comes in handy when towing. For instance, the 5.2-liter engine has a towing capacity of up to 12,750 pounds. And even if you tow at max capacity, you can expect a gentle, relaxing ride due to the soft suspension.
