Plan Ahead

Classics are crowd pleasers, but this might also be a convenient occasion to get everybody together to watch the newest arrival on a streaming service. If the movie you pick already has a sequel, see if everybody might be up for a double feature! Just make sure you have enough snacks for the added runtime.
Pick a Theme
Once you know what movie you’re going to show, you can set the scene with themed décor and dinner. Draw inspiration from the movie’s setting and characters. If you have a projector, you can cast the movie against the side of your home, or hang up a sheet for an improvised big screen. Just keep the wind in mind, and consider anchoring all sides of the sheet so that it doesn’t blow in the breeze and interrupt the picture.
